I am a consultant for the National Math and Science Initiative. I tutor students and provide in-service for teachers around the nation.
I was named the 2020 Secondary Teacher of Year at Whitehouse ISD. In 2003 I was named the Secondary Teacher of the Year at Tyler ISD.
I have been an educator since 1993. I have been a teacher at Whitehouse High School since 2001-2002 school year. I teach three levels of AP Physics: AP Physics Year 1; AP Physics Year 2; and AP Physics C.
I have been a teacher since 1993 in a variety of districts.
I am happily married to Brad Hood. We have two children who both graduated from Whitehouse High School, Trent in 2014, and Beth in 2016.
I enjoy traveling and being outdoors.
