I have taught at Whitehouse High School since 2002. I was the choral director at both the HS and JH for 7 years, then only assisted at the JH after that, being the sole director at WHS. I am in my 19th year of teaching at WISD. I teach Beginning Tenor/Bass Choir, Beginning Treble Choir, Applied Music, Varsity Mixed Choir and Show Choir.
Prior to working at Whitehouse, I taught at Palestine HS, Rusk HS, Palestine Elementary, Anderson-Shiro K-12 music and Navasota JH as an English teacher. I have taught a total of 34 years, 30 of which has been as a HS choral director. Some of the memberships and officer positions I have had the honor to hold that have impacted my teaching experience greatly are:

Leadership:
TMEA Vocal Chair: 6 years
TMEA Area Chair: 1 year

My husband, Rob and I have been married for 35 years and we have 2 sons, Taylor, 25 and Joel 23. Both our sons graduated from Whitehouse HS.
I enjoy several activities outside the school day. I enjoy watching movies, video games, traveling, metal detecting, scrapbooking and collecting depression glass.
