TEACHER
I graduated from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas in 1985.
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Foreign Language and Education.
I have also earned Advanced Placement (AP) certifications in Spanish Language and Culture at University of Texas at Tyler, and Spanish LIterature and Culture at TCU in Ft. Worth.
I am a member in the following professional organizations: American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), American Council on the Teaching Foreign Languages (ACTFL), Texas Foreign Language Association (TFLA).
I began teaching at Whitehouse High School in 2017. I have been with WISD for 4 years. I currently teach Spanish 2, Honors Spanish 3, AP Spanish 4, and AP Spanish 5.
Prior to arriving at Whitehouse, I taught 4 years at Jacksonville High School. Previous to my time at Whitehouse High School, I also taught 11 years at Palestine High School and 2 years at Navasota High School.
