I have been at Whitehouse High School since August of 2018.

I currently teach in the High School Life Skills classroom

I started my teaching career way before I ever became a teacher. I was a paraprofessional at Arlington Middle School in Arlington, TN from 2008-2014.

I worked in the STEP’s program classroom at Pilot Point High School as a paraprofessional while I went to school to complete my teaching certification for 1 year. I then taught as a Special Education Inclusion teacher for 5^th and 6^th graders at the Pilot Point Intermediate School. After that I went back to the High School and was the teacher of record in the STEP’S program, which meant Student Training Employment Program. I taught there for 2 years. 

• I have been in a relationship with my significant other since January 16, 2017. 
• I have 2 children and I also claim Jim’s son. They are 30, 27 and almost 16. 
• Peyton goes to school here at WHS.
• I have 3 beautiful grandchildren. Lily will be 6 in October, Chamberlain will be 3 in November, and as of 8/10/21 I just became a Sassy (grandma) of a sweet little boy. His name is Cash.
• I have 3 Furbabies: Finn, Lucy (they are Havanese) and Zoe is a Goldendoodle. 

• I am taking an interest in going on many adventures around the world
• I enjoy kayaking at Lake Tyler
• I like to swim, go to the beach, go to the mountains, take pictures of sunrises and sunsets, watch movies, and most of all I love to spend time with my grandchildren.
