TEACHER
I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the UT Health Science Center in 1994.
I am a CPhT, Certified Pharmacy Technician, and passed the State Board exam in May of 2012.
My favorite aspect to teaching is introducing these gifted students to the exciting field of pharmacy.
I transitioned from working in clinical labs to teaching microbiology lab sections at UT Tyler. From there, I taught Health Science at Legacy in Tyler for three years before joining the staff at WHS. I have been the instructor for the Pharmacy Tech program for the past eight years.
My daughter begins a second year at TJC this fall and plans to attend vet school. My son is a junior at WHS. I have been married for 27 years and my husband is a Dean at TJC.
My hobbies include kayaking and jet skiing on Lake Tyler and riding dirt bikes with my son.
