Whitehouse ISD Family Focus

May 21, 2026

Whitehouse ISD Families,

As we close another incredible school year in Whitehouse ISD, I simply want to say thank you!

Thank you to our students for your hard work, resilience, and the pride you bring to our schools each day. Thank you to our families for your partnership, encouragement, and support throughout the year. And thank you to our staff for the countless ways you have invested in students and served our community.

This year has been filled with accomplishments in the classroom, on the stage, in competition, and through service to others. More importantly, it has been filled with relationships, growth, and moments that remind us what makes Whitehouse ISD such a special place.

As we head into summer, I hope each of you has the opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend meaningful time with family and friends. Whether your family is celebrating a graduation, preparing for a new school year, or simply enjoying a slower pace for a few weeks, I hope you know how grateful we are to serve you.

Have a safe and wonderful summer, and Go Cats!

Congratulations, Class of 2026

To the Class of 2026, your big moment is finally here. Congratulations! Graduation is tomorrow night, and as you gather with your classmates and friends, I hope you take a minute to slow down, look around, and enjoy every part of it. Over the years, you’ve left your mark on Whitehouse ISD in classrooms, on stages, on fields and courts, and in the relationships you’ve built along the way. We are proud of the young men and women you’ve become.

To our parents and families, congratulations to you as well. You’ve supported, encouraged, and walked alongside these students through every season, and this celebration belongs to you too.

Graduation for the Class of 2026 will be held this Friday at 8:30 p.m. A live broadcast of the ceremony will be shared on Whitehouse Wildcats Live on YouTube as we celebrate this special milestone together.

Transportation Survey Reminder

As we begin preparing for the next school year, an important part of building efficient bus routes is hearing from our families. If your child plans to ride the bus during the 2026–2027 school year, please complete the Transportation Survey in Skyward Family Access under Online Forms. Families should complete the form for each individual child. Thank you for helping us prepare for a strong start next year.

Campus Substitute Teachers of the Year

These individuals represent the very best of who we are as a district. They are dependable, dedicated professionals who consistently step in wherever they are needed with flexibility and care. While each campus selects only one honoree, these recognitions reflect the dedication, reliability, and positive impact demonstrated by substitute staff throughout Whitehouse ISD.

To our Campus Substitute Teachers of the Year: thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and willingness to serve our students and staff at a moment’s notice.

5th Grade Track Meet

Our annual 5th Grade Track Meet at Wildcat Stadium is quickly becoming one of the highlights of the end of the school year. Students from all four elementary campuses came together to compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy some friendly competition before heading to Holloway 6th Grade next year. Thank you to our PE teachers and volunteers for all the work that went into making the event such a success.

Holloway Band Earns Best in Class Honors

Speaking of Holloway, the H6G Band had an outstanding performance at the Rose City Music Festival & Contest. The band earned Superior ratings from all three judges, the highest rating possible, which secured a Sweepstakes trophy. Even more impressive, they were awarded Best in Class, recognizing them as the top 6th-grade band across the entire three-day contest. Congratulations to these students and directors on an incredible accomplishment!

Firearm Storage Safety

Texas law requires school districts to share information with parents and guardians about the safe storage of firearms. We encourage all families to review these important resources and reminders about keeping firearms securely stored. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community safe. For more information, visit the Keep ’Em Safe Texas website.

Looking Ahead to 2026–2027

With summer officially here, this is a good time for a quick reminder that the 2026–2027 school calendar is now available on our district website. The first day of school will be Wednesday, August 12, and the last day of school is scheduled for Thursday, May 27.

You can also visit our Back-to-School page throughout the summer for important dates, updates, school supply information, and other helpful resources as we prepare for another great year.

See You in August!

Have a safe, fun, and restful summer, Wildcats! We’ll see you back in August.
