Welcome to the Learning Resource Center (LRC)!

The term LRC is a shift from the ‘traditional’ library. Rather than coming as a class to checkout books once a week, students will now have the opportunity to check out new books individually as needed. Our desire is to encourage students to lifelong lovers of reading and literature, as well as effective users of ideas and information.

In the WHS LRC, students will learn to utilize the steps of the engineering design process (ask, research, imagine, plan, create, test, and improve) to help them grow in the areas that Whitehouse ISD values in their students and graduates.

We want to encourage students to become lifelong lovers of reading and literature, effective users of ideas and information, and to guide students to use this information to create ideas and innovate the future.
