Inclusion Educational Aide
I graduated in 2002 from Nacogdoches High School and went on to attend Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island; from which I earned a B.S. Degree in Computer Graphics and New Media in 2006. I later returned to college to attend Le Cordon Bleu at Texas Culinary Academy to graduate Summa Cum Laude with an A.S. Degree in Culinary Arts in 2010.
I have been with Whitehouse ISD since 2012. Working as an Inclusion Paraprofessional at Whitehouse High School for the last four of those. Prior to that, I worked as a School Nutrition Manager, most of my time with the department was spent at Cain Elementary. I currently work with all High School students in all subjects.
Before coming to work at the district I worked as a Certified Chef at Jake’s Tyler, Trinity Mother Frances, and Fresh; developing and opening the Pastry Department as the Pastry Specialist. My experience in the Culinary Industry has given me a great understanding of people and problem-solving; these are both skills that have impacted my work here at Whitehouse ISD.
