This will be my 5th year teaching, and my 3rd at Whitehouse High School. For the 2022-2023 school year, I will be teaching 5 sections of Honors/GT Geometry and 2 sections of On-Level Geometry.
Before moving to Whitehouse, I spent the first two years of my teaching career at Mabank High School teaching Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus. Teaching at Mabank gave me a great start to my career and opened my eyes to a lot of issues that no college course can ever prepare you for. I quickly learned that as teachers, we should always be there for our students because we never know what their story is.
Recently married to my wife, Randi, as of October 2, 2021. We do not have any children, but we do have two dogs, Jace, a chocolate lab, and Boudreaux, a miniature dachsund.
I enjoy fishing and hunting. During my free time, I can usually be found on a lake somewhere, but during the fall and winter months I like to deer and duck hunt. Aside from that, I recently finished the certification process to become a principal in the State of Texas, and plan to pursue an administrative position in the near future.
