I am also cosponsor the Business Professionals of America and coach the UIL Computer Applications team.
Prior to teaching at Whitehouse, I taught and coached at four other schools. I started teaching in 1985 at TK Gorman. In 1986 I began teaching and coaching volleyball, basketball, and track at Bullard High School. From there I had the opportunity to coach volleyball and track at Van High School. During that time, I gave birth to my daughter and moved to the Elementary Physical Education department. I taught Elementary Physical Education one year in Jacksonville. From there, it was back into the classroom teaching Business classes at Whitehouse High School.
I have married for 36 years to Tony Stanley, I have one daughter Sarah Edwards that graduated in 2010 from Whitehouse High school and presently teaches and coached in McKinney.
I do love to travel! My favorite time of the year is Fall when the air is crisp and clear and the leaves began to change.
